Jello Cake



1 pkg. lemon or white cake mix (or make your own)
1 pkg.(3 oz.) jello (any flavor you like)
1 cup boiling water
½ cup cold water

Prepare cake as directed in a 9 X13 pan. Cool. Poke holes about 1-2 inches apart in cake with the end of a wooden spoon or other utensil. Dissolve jello in boiling water, add water and pour over cake. Chill for 2 hours.
Frosting:
Prepare one small pkg. instant vanilla pudding. Fold in one small container of cool whip. Spread on top of cake.
